I want to mention here that during our journey out West I felt there was a white light bubble around Jack’s vehicle and that Yahweh was watching over us.

During the two weeks in July that Ann and her son were gone, visiting their relatives in the Midwest, Starhawk helped me get settled and drove me to the county and state offices I needed to visit to be sure my affairs were in order because of the move. I don’t know what I would have done without Starhawk during that time. He really bent over backwards to help me.

Also, when I first arrived in Colorado I had a lot of difficulty walking. But it wasn’t long before that changed. Eventually I was able to take hikes up in the mountains with some of my new friends, and even climbed Mount Lamborn.

The Second Annual Love and Light Conference was held in August. Ann and Starhawk were in charge of the light workers’ conference that brought in speakers and workshops about a variety of topics, including UFOs, healing, channeling and more. Even though I didn’t like being around large groups of people, I attended part of the conference and met some people who would become important in my life.

One of these was John Robert Feather, a healer from Virginia, who was very kind and generous. He talked about Perfect Health Vibrations and performed healings on people for free. He had a wonderful energy to be around. I met Cindy and Daniel Nichols from Canon City, who told me they wanted me to come stay with them for a few days and see that part of Colorado. And then there was Lilian from Washington state, who wanted to interview me for one of her cable TV programs, “Persons of High Strangeness.” She invited me to come to Washington and stay with her. With Lilian was Monica Smith, and we connected right away. When Monica found out that I had an affinity for mountains, she began speaking in “mountain” and I understood her! We talked to each other, rock to rock — and it must have been quite a sight for others.

On Sunday, the last day of the conference, I just happened to be in the room when the Lakota spiritual leader, Standing Elk, walked in. Standing Elk had driven all the way from South Dakota just to speak at Ann’s Love and Light Conference. He is a famous leader among Native Americans and has put on numerous Star Knowledge Conferences around the country since the 1990s. I went over to Standing Elk and told him who I was and that my grandmother had been a Native American. For some reason I couldn’t stop talking. He listened as I told him about my crash at Roswell and the symbols I drew.

This caught Standing Elk’s attention. I found out later that he had received symbols from space beings and had been interpreting them as well as presenting the information in his talks about universal symbols and their meanings.
